Introducing Ziggy Stardust

About 7 months ago we lost our darling fur kid Camila. We had lost Mumra, her brother, a few years prior.

Camila and Mumra were part of our family for so many years. They where there before David and I got married, before our wonderful children and joined us through the journey of making our family. It was devastating to say goodbye. It was impossible to imagine any fur creature winning our hearts again.

Fortunately life has a way of keeping you surrounded with the love you need. About a month ago life sent a little black fur ball our way. After having brunch as a family one Sunday we decided to walk by a local pet shop that was hosting an adoption event for a local shelter. We walked in and only one cat was left. We were not expecting to fall in love, but we did and knew from that very moment that Ziggy was meant to be a member of our family.

I am happy to report that life with Ziggy has been nothing but joy. He is a sweetheart, as Marcos says. I never thought I could feel like this about a pet again. He is laid back, playful, sweet and gentle with the kids and everyone he meets.

The boys call him Felix The Most Wonderful, Wonderful cat, and I have to agree.

Please support your local shelter. If you can help it don't buy, adopt.. If you are in Montgomery County take a look at Friends of Montgomery County, they are sure to have a furry friend that will steal your heart :).
